The International Association of Russian-speaking science & technology professionals “RuSciTech” is organising a conference on 10-11 March 2014 in Tempe, Arizona, USA:
“RuSciTech Forum USA 2014 : International Collaboration in Science, High Technology and Education .”
The conference “RuSciTech Forum USA 2014″ is a part of a series of events launched in March 2012 by the First International conference of Russian scientists “RuSciTech Forum 2012″, Cambridge (UK).
“RuSciTech Forum USA 2014 ” is organised as an affiliated event with the conference NGC2014 at one of the largest U.S. universities – Arizona State University.
The conference aims to promote the development of effective mechanisms for collaboration in the scientific and educational areas between Russian organizations and Russian-speaking science & technology professionals living outside of Russia, as well as with appropriate organizations worldwide. Presentations and discussions of the event will be focused on issues arising in the course of such collaboration, on examples of specific joint projects, sources funding and other issues.
The format of the conference will include presentations and round tables in sections dedicated to four areas: science, education, innovation and general facilitation. This conference is not intended for purely scientific presentations. Instead, it will focus on the interface between science and industry, management of international science and technology projects, improvement of their effectiveness, on modern framework and government programs of cooperation, engagement strategy with the world’s leading science and engineering centres, ideas for joint projects.
The conference participants will include representatives of leading Russian and foreign universities, foundations, corporations, research and engineering centres.
Participants of the conference will have an opportunity to visit nearby attractions, such as the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas and take part in activities “Renaissance Festival”.
